For more than 25 years I worked as an art teacher. Now I enjoy volunteering to work with the Swann children, many of whom remind me of my sister who had cerebral palsy. I love getting a smile when I walk into their classrooms. Each child makes me think of how and what tools I can use to help them have an art experience. It is a personal signature of their own. And it’s fun. They can see the marks they make, choose colors, and learn art concepts by doing. The teachers are amazing and helpful. I find my better angels volunteering here at Swann School.
